I love
my slow cooker. Today I made a modified chili that I found in this
Cooking Light Slow Cooker book.
The recipe is simple: 1.5 pounds of
95% fat free ground beef, cooked with lots of chili pepper, red pepper flakes and this hungarian hot sauce thing from Hungary (to taste). Then thrown in the slow cooker with 1 sliced raw red onions, 4 stalks of celery (sliced), canned kidney beans (1 big can, I think 30 ounces or so, like two small ones) and canned tomatoes (2-14.5 ounce cans).
The recipe builder said 2 points per cup serving. It's delicious!
